While teachers elsewhere are striking for low pay or no pay at all, these ones tasked their principal to get Ugandan Artiste Desire Luzinda perform at their function or they 'strike'! Teachers to this yet to be identified preschool threatened to put their tools down if singer Desire Luzinda did not perform at their end of year party that also, doubled as a graduation for those crossing from pre-school to primary.
The mother of one, Desire Luzinda, 31, who is renowned for her Ekitone song came dressed in a blue outfit that revealed those curves though it took her a bit of time trying to get an outfit that was ideal for the little kids, eventually she did and every one was dancing and singing to her Ekitone song.
"Last Saturday I had to cancel a show to honor an invitation to grace an Xmas party for a kindergarten/primary school. I must say it was one of the best decision I ever made. The head teacher was under so much pressure from the kids who kept on storming his office for reassurance of my presence,yet he was also praying I do not disappoint. They asked me to do just 2 songs which they ended up singing by themselves from the beginning to the end. And of course the excitement for the rainbow cake as they kept on saying..." revealed Desire.
